I'm looking for adventure in my life again. For a while, I thought I was done with it. I've already done so much. But I find myself missing it. I want to get back into the water, see the depths, feel the air as I fall.

Because of my Arabic upbringing, even though I was born in the Netherlands, I decided to leave my family behind. It was, and still is, very difficult because, while they are your parents, sometimes you also have to choose for yourself, especially in these modern times.
