Which man can break through my shyness?

I've made a few serious mistakes in relationships and don't want to go through that again. I'd like to get to know you well before we actually go on a date.

I'm rather shy. I don't have many friends, and going out doesn't appeal to me. I prefer to read a good book or watch a movie or documentary. I love good food, traveling, hiking, and I'm in a diving club. What I find important in a man is that he still has some gentlemanly side and a sense of romance. I'm really looking for something serious, no players please!

I like to make myself heard and seen. I'm not one to hide in the crowd; I like to be at the forefront. Of course, you have to be able to handle that if you want to hang out with me.
